Kuruvadweep

Kuruvadweep or Kuruva Island is a 950-acre (3.8 km2) protected river delta. It comprises three densely wooded uninhabited islands and a few submergible satellite islands, which lies on the banks of the tributaries of Kabini River in the Wayanad district

Edakkal Caves

Located at about 1200 ft above the sea level, the Edakkal Caves are among the oldest human settlements ever discovered. Inside the caves are pictorial drawings and engravings that indicate the presence of ancient human settlements in the region. Despite their name, the Edakkal Caves are not actually caves.

Thamarassery Churam

Thamarassery Churam, is a mountain pass in Kerala, India that connects the Kozhikode and Wayanad districts: Thamarassery Churam is located on National Highway 766 in the Western Ghats, which run parallel to the western coast of India. The mountain pass is about 14 kilometers long, stretching from Adivaram to Lakkidi View Point. The pass is known for its steep turns and bends, and offers views of the plains below. Some say that each hairpin bend opens up a new frontier.

Chembra Peak

Chembra Peak is a popular trekking destination in Wayanad.Chembra Peak is located in the Wayanad hill ranges of the Western Ghats, about 17 km from Kalpetta and near Meppady town. Chembra Peak is 2,100 meters above sea level.Chembra Peak is known for its heart-shaped lake, waterfalls, and lush greenery. The area is also home to many rare species of flora and fauna. The trek to the summit is considered challenging but manageable.

Tholpetty Wildlife sanctuary

Tholpetty Wildlife sanctuary Located 20 kms east of Mananthavady in the district of Wayanad, is the scenic Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary. Rich in wide variety of flora and fauna, Tholpetty sanctuary has been a favorite spot of domestic and international tourists. Though the visitors are restricted to the outer zone, a jeep safari will be a brilliant opportunity to enjoy the dense forests and the stunning surrounding scenery. Visitors often see elephant herd, sambar deer, bison, bear, Malabar squirrel and occasionally tigers and panthers.

Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary

With the presence of moist deciduous forests and semi-evergreen forests, Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary is blessed abundantly by nature. These dense forests shelter a significant number of wildlife that includes wild animals, birds, butterflies, etc.

Thirunelli temple

The Thirunelli temple is believed to have been built by Lord Brahma. He was travelling round the earth upon a swan and noticed the enchanting beauty of the Brahmagiri Hills. He descended on the spot and found an idol of Vishnu under an Amla tree. He installed the idol there and called the temple Sahyamalaka temple.
