Mini Ooty

Kodikuthimala, also known as the Ooty of Malappuram and Mini Ooty is a hill station in Vettathur and Thazhekode villages, in Kerala, India. At a height of 540 metres above sea level, it is the highest peak in Amminikkadan hills.

Teak Museum

The Nilambur Teak museum is located near the Teak plantation and is an ideal place to see the teak plantation activities undertaken 160 years ago. Some interesting exhibits here include traditional granary and a miniature model of a sailing vessel called Uru, made of teak wood.

Keralamkundu waterfalls

Kottakkunnu

Kottakkunnu, is a popular picnic spot in Malappuram. Traces of an old fort, a water-park and ancient murals are some of the delightful attractions of Kottakkunnu. The fort was incidentally the first to be built by the Zamorins of Kozhikode.
