Muzhappilangad Beach is a drive-in beach in the Kannur district of Kerala, on the Malabar Coast of India. It stretches across 4 kilometres in length. In 2016, it was featured among the six "best beaches for driving"

Paithalmala

Paithalmala is a popular trekking destination. There are two trekking seasons at Paithalmala monsoon and summer. Trekking in Paithalmala can be challenging due to frequent rain, leeches, and occasional elephant visits. Hilltop: The observatory tower is seen at the extreme Monsoon is followed by a cool climate in Paithalmala and the grass surrounding the hills grow to their fullest size, making it difficult to walk through.

St. Angelo's Fort

St. Angelo's Fort, popularly known as the Kannur Fort, is a massive triangular laterite fort and is among the most historic sites in Kannur. Constructed by the first Portuguese Viceroy, Don Francesco de Almeida in 1505, the fort is flanked by gigantic bastions that make for an imposing sight.

Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is situated within the municipality limits of Kannur city. The Lighthouse is about 3 km away from the Railway station. Kannur was a flourishing Port under Malabar ruler Samuri ( Zamorin ) in 15th century.

Arakkal Museum

The Arakkal Museum is a museum dedicated to the Arakkal family, the only Muslim royal family in Kerala, India. The museum is actually a section of the Arakkalkettu (Arakkal Royal Palace). The durbar hall section of the palace has been converted into a museum by the Government of Kerala.

Payyambalam Beach

The Payyambalam Beach is an impeccably maintained destination in Kannur. This secluded location is known for providing one with the opportunity to simply relax or enjoy a family picnic in absolute tranquillity. Surfing and swimming options are also available for those who seek a little adventure.

Thalassery Fort

Thalassery was one of the most important European trading centers of Kerala. The Fort lies on the group of low wooden hill running down to sea and protected by natural waters. It has been the main opening for the rich spices, hill products and timber of the vast inter-land.

Parassinikkadavu snake park

Parassinikkadavu snake park is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of snakes, many species of which are gradually becoming extinct. In a live show, trained personnel play and 'interact' with a variety of snakes, including cobras and vipers, and try to quell mythical fears and superstitions about snakes.

Madayipara

Spread across an area of 700 acres, Madayipara is an ecological haven that is home to a wide species of flora and fauna, including bird and butterfly species. This flat-topped hillock is situated on the banks of Kuppam River. History sleeps here. Madayipara was the administrative centre of the Ezhimala kings.

Chootad Beach
